The choice of the dance world champions in the Salon Tango category will transform the stage of Luna Park in a senior track and will be a highlight on a night with many attractions. On Monday, August 29, in addition to the competition, there will be a show that will present the Typical Orchestra of Rio de la Plata and Ruben Rada Tango featuring unreleased "Araca to tango," composed to celebrate the declaration of tango Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The three guitarists accompany Uruguay: Guzmán Mendaro, Poli and Nicholas Rodriguez Ibarburu.

Since its inception in the group El Kinto the late 60's, Ruben Rada is a sort of sponge that combines traditional music with influences Uruguayan more varied. Singer, percussionist and composer, his career spans both the Candombe and Murga as rock and jazz, to the point that it became one of the pioneers of the genre of fusion candombe-beat. The best summary of its significance happened in Berlin last year, the city honored him with three days of concerts and debates over his career. Tango culture is alien to him either: it is the author of the delightful "Candombe Gardel." So in this edition will introduce the unprecedented tango "Araca to tango," composed to celebrate the declaration of the Tango as a Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The three guitarists accompany Uruguay: Guzmán Mendaro, Poli and Nicholas Rodriguez Ibarburu.
As part of the celebration of the tango, tango orchestras of Rio de la Plata will make a special presentation with the participation of great musicians from both sides. With pianist Andrew Linetzky charge of the arrangements and musical direction, the orchestra brings together musicians, singers and an exclusive repertoire of contemporary composers from both sides of the Rio de la Plata-act for the second consecutive year at the Festival. This project takes musical pioneers who founded a tradition for over a century and continues today with a musical panorama of trade between both countries.
